Good food. Never had a bad meal here
My boyfriend introduced me to this restaurant as I am new to the area. We have eaten here three times over the last six weeks and the quality of the food has been consistently great. The service is very good as well. I don’t understand why the place isn’t packed. There are affordable specials every night and the menu is very reasonably priced. I am a picky eater and I wasn’t too sure I would find something I wanted to eat on their menu but I have the Italian sausage hoagie a shot and it was excellent!!! It was so good I had it on my second visit. Last night I tried the meatball hoagie and it did not dissapoint. The hoagies are served on bread that is perfectly toasted! We sit at the bar and the barteners are very attentive and welcoming. Can’t wait to try their pizza.
Inconsistant at best. Small portions…Miserable bar staff…Pizza is the best thing on the menu. Freshly prepared with decent crust and ample toppings. Sandwiches are very small and certianly not worth the price tag (unless you enjoy a cole slaw and french fry sandwich). The soup, i believe, is out of a bag or box. The bartenders do NOT want to be there, and it shows! Thursday evenings and Sunday after noon you will get the best service from the bar. Take my word! This is not the Pittsburgh Primanti bros. you would expect, More like pits…burgh.
First time: ordered take-out pizza. Found friendly staff and OK prices. Their average crust is definitely redeemed by fresh ingredients. Will go again.
From Pittsburgh to You. All I eat here is pizza slices not everyday mind you. They are good size with a zesty sauce and sometimes the grease drips down the slice onto your plate. What’s not to like? Have it with a beer. Anytime. The best slice in these parts. My reference: Lombardi’s on Spring. Take the #6 train.
