Small and very cozy eat in Thai gem is located next to a dated Walmart shopping plaza. You would never know it was there unless you were looking. It opens promptly at 5 pm for dinner. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. For 6 adults that had entrees, coffee and dessert, $100 bucks is a great price! No liquor ordered, although they have it available.
The food was awesome 4/5 but the service wasn’t the best 3/5. Thai Tea was good (little sweeter), Panang Curry was good but could be thicker and slightly sweeter. Basil Fried Rice was good. One of things that took away 0.5 rating from my 4/5 for this restaurant was their service. Their were hidden charges on top of what was advertised such as brown rice ($2), vegetables($2) or eggs($1) that we weren’t told in advance by our server. Service was slow and the staff wasn’t very pleasant to interact with. However, in spite of all that, the food was great and we had great time.
Poor, Poor, Poor service.. I’m not going into details; you can read my full review on Yelp.The service was horrendous to say the least. I can’t comment on the food because after waiting for over an hour, I never received any.The bottom line? I was being extremely calm and polite (just ask my wife). The server called me an asshole….. As I was leaving, another guest asked me what had been my issues. I stopped at his table and told him that it had just been an issue with the server. The server then walked up to me and said she would call the police if I did not leave immediately, I swear to god, throughout the whole ordeal, I never once raised my voice or was impolite in any way….
Good experience. Read a lot of reviews and decided to try it out. From the outside, the place looked like it was closed. Pull the door open and walked in. Small place but busy on a Sun night. Ordered the fried Tofu, Shrimp Pad Thai, Chicken curry (Panang), Volcano Chicken, Shrimp Tempura (kid’s menu) and dancing eel roll. Everything was good, but the Volcano Chicken was questionable. Not really sure what the sauce was on top of the chicken. Portion size was ok. The rice however could have been hotter (temp). The service was slow, but not bad. Will come back and try something else. Will recommend.

Never going back.. My company orders as a group here once a week. I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetable off the lunch menu. I requested brown rice and they gave me white rice. The portion size was very small and most of the weight was liquid and rice. I counted 3 small pieces of chicken. Amazing Thai puts this place to shame both in quality and service. Never again.
