I’m trying to explain our experience at Thai Thai in the nicest way possible and unfortunately I cannot find anything nice to say. 1. Worst possible service ever: we told our first server that we are vegan and want no fish sauce or shrimp paste in our tom yum soup. Her response was the it’s just vegetable water and salt. Thai food is supposed to be one of the most vegan friendly cuisines but apparently not so according to our first server 2. We ordered basil fried rice, pad Thai, red curry and avocado roll. Explicitly told our second server that we are vegan. 3. Later we wanted to check with our server that the pad Thai was without egg. Her response: oh you need to tell me no egg. We are very busy so you have to tell me. I wonder what vegan means for her? 4. After this the service just got worse. She banged our plates on the table like she was annoyed at us and wanted us to leave asap. 5. It also didn’t help that all the severs were extremely rude. And the guy who was clearing all the dirty dishes. Wow man I mean did you need to use the toilet or something? The speed and mess at which he cleared the tables and in the process pushed over an ice bucket and wine. 6. Overall worst restaurant ever. And to top it all off they had the balls to enforce an 18% tip on us. The bill came to $51.20 plus an 18% tip which was definitely not happening. They got 0 tip from us and we will be telling everyone about what they are like. This restaurant is never going to get a good review from us. 7. They would have gotten negative review if that was an option. 8. Food was nothing great either. I can make better and tastier Thai food at home myself.9. Almost forgot to mention. There was about a 35-45 minutes for our mains.
