Looking to increase profits by doing the wrong thing.. I’ve been a long time customer of this restaurant until my last two visits, where I have told my wife that we will be looking elsewhere for good food. As far as their taste and authentic latin flavor, it is there, however last week I visited there where I ordered soda water with my food. For many years I have ordered just plain soda water with my food at no charge. First the waitress stated never having it and then told me she had it but had to charge me the price of a regular drink. Second disappointment came last night when I ordered an onion sauted steak which typically comes with a little side of garlic sauce, just to find that it did not come with it. I asked the server for some garlic and was charged $1.07 for it. Really? For garlic sauce that is customary from any other restaurant? I refuse to believe how cheap and low their customer service has stooped down to. I am in the food service industry myself and would never consider this to be a strategic move to increase my profit margin. Really? Charging for sauce or water? We have other restaurants right here in Poinciana which are equally as good and will not treat you this way. Open your eyes, my Solivita neighbors.
I went to eat there. The pizza was good HOWEVER the cups were disgusting!!!! They had a white film all over and I took it upon myself to take a piece of napkin and press it against the outside and rub it OMG!! I immediately told the waitress and then spoke to the manager who was starting to train someone. He didn’t apologize but he didn’t know what to do and he said he will take care of it, came out from the back pretty quickly and didn’t apologize and kept training. The waitress did apologize and said she told the person in the back. I felt like going to every table and showing every customer how disgusting the cups were, if they were that disgusting I can just imagine the shape of that kitchen. Wish I would’ve taken a picture. I work at a Restaurant and that won’t fly with the manager.
Cant wait for my next visit. My hubby and went in to the restaurant for a quick date in between kids nap time w/ babysitter. He had a steak smothered in browned onions a small side salad fresh and crisp and mofongo to round out a great plate. My choice was small with a huge bang, tostones mmmm they were cut mashed and fried to perfection. The mojito was tastier than the mayoketchu I wanted more 🙂 The next time I went for pernil with rice and beans. The pernil was so good, but they were stingy with the cuero…still would go back in for seconds anytime.
Mr. Jose Cartagena. First of all this is a Dominican Restaurant not Puerto Rican . The Food and Prices leave a lot to be desired.

Bad!!! Way to bad!!! I order chicken with rice and got rice with salad the food never taste the same theirs always something different sorry but I don’t recommend this restaurant
This place use to be a good pizza place.. The food is ok depending on what you get. The staff speaks little to no English. My server is on the phone as we speak. I’ve asked her for the check. They don’t drain there fries when they come out of the oil. The owner is no help. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone who speaks only English.
