One of the Best Hidden Gems in all of Polk County! The location is a little out of the way since its the only restaurant on Lake Shipp but boy is it worth the visit! Once you drive up to the restaurant you are blown away by the size of the building and the lake front location. There is a large beach area for sea planes and jet skies to pull up to as well as a large dock for boats to dock onto. They have a large seating area on the dock for those who want to enjoy the sun, water and sand. They also have a huge lake bar downstairs overlooking the lake with many TVs and table tops for ultra-casual drinks or dining. Upstairs is the main dining room which gives off more of a trendy feel but remains casual as well.Menu is great and food was delicious. The service was very attentive and i felt they did a great job considering the large crowd they had. You must try the Peanut Butter Pie with Chocolate crust if you go as it is KILLER!

We had a bunch of food from Sea skins to gator bites to calamari and sat at the great bar and drank some good craft beers.This place definitely is unique for a small town like Winter Haven. I don’t live in Winter Haven but I am here several times a year and I can tell you that Harborside is my place to go for eating out. In a town full of national chains this place is off the main road but sits RIGHT on a lake with great views. You actually feel like you may be on the intercoastal by Tampa / St Pete. Great find!
X MAS EVE dinner with family was great. We had a view of the lake and saw the sunset. I thought their Sea Skins appetizer was very good and something I had not seen before. I had grouper that was topped with a Rockefeller topping and loved it. The others had steaks and fish and everyone enjoyed their meals. This is a beautiful find in a small town area where my parents stay for the winter.
A night out. Very disappointed with my meal. Had the chicken Alfredo had very little flavor had to salt it twice to had any taste at all. The chicken was cut Shi thin I could almost see through it. If it were hand the price it would have been to much. The salad dressing was not very good either. Never again. Loved the old Haborside it is now very up scale looking but the food is no good.
Ate there tonight. The grouper sandwich was badly burned and soggy. The bread served with the sandwich was far too soft for the fish. The entire sandwich was a soft mushy mess. To be fair the gator bites as a appetizer were excellent. The salad served with the entrees was also very good. My wife had the herbed chicken, which was just ok. Prices were a little high, and we aren’t likely to return.

So, I was very much in love with the old Harborside, because it was beautiful eating over the water. However, new rendition is classy and very clean. I had the Crab stuffed Shrimp. It was well seasoned and not too salty. The cheese/jalapeo grits were also excellent! I recommend!!
