Our server was Courtney, who had a wonderful and friendly disposition, greeted us as soon as we entered the restaurant. We ordered the all you can eat catfish, it was delicious, as were the fries and coleslaw. The service was excellent.. Courtney came to our table several times during the meal to check our waters and refill, and reorder our catfish. We also noticed she was just attentive to her other customers. The whole staff was attentive to their customers. We did read the reviews before going, which were mixed, our experience was great. We highly recommend you visit. We are going to go back and try their breakfast special.

Bring Back the Previous Owners. I’ve been here numerous times in the past and when the ownership changed boy has this place gone down hill. I figured that new owners shouldn’t change it too much, I was wrong. If you are looking for an IMMENSE amount of quality time without food then this is the place! The service is insanely slow and noone seems to care! Now, if you are ok with lots of quality time and no food, I would still stay away! The quality of food, for lack of better wording, sucks. Apparently, eggs and pancakes are difficult to make. Who knew! Considering the amount of breakfast options Lakeland has to offer, I would recommend trying one of those instead.
Loved it. As someone who has worked in the industry for going on ten years I can say that I really appreciate and understand the fact that the owners are working day and night to bring this place up to the best standards and even above that! All of the hard work and dedication is really paying off… If you walk in there today you will see a beautiful clean restaurant that is all being hand done by the owners and staff… So I say to everyone who works there, great job and keep it up and you will be the best place in town
Rude Manager. We used to go all the time with no complaints. Then, one day, we did have a problem, and spoke to the owner’s son. He was extremely rude and nasty and I haven’t been back since!
Other people who reviewed are just miserable…. Even after the reviews I’ve read her and online, I decided to try this place out. I read how the servers are rude, no one ever got refills, no one got served for 30 minutes, and my favorite posts were how they were overcome with religious symbols. I went with my mother, and ex server who is the pickiest person alive and we both enjoyed it a lot. It was a busy Sunday morning and we were greeted immediately, the server got out drinks, and came back to get our order since we weren’t ready. She took our order, and my mother asked for special requests, and part of her meal to go. The waitress said no problem, food was out in about 15 minutes, my mom and a burger so it does take time for medium-well. Food was well cooked, and very tasty. She brought more refills than needed and extra napkins and mustard, and all my mother’s extra items wihtout a fuss and with a smile. The price was more than fair, the service was good, and the atmosphere is cute and inviting. They have one wall of crosses with handwritten verses, which as a not religious person, I find endearing of the owners and not offensive at all. Give them a try and find out for yourself, ignore the idiots who post and complain because they have nothing better to do…like the couple who’s son spilled drinks all over so they asked for drinks to go and when told they didn’t have lids they gave an attitude to the server..these are the type of folks who complain since they are upset their wild unruly kids can’t be managed and know want someone to be angry with.
