Impressive. People line up trying to get in this place and it is no wonder! The food and service are outstanding! Reservations are a must. BYOB wine – no corkage fee. There really is no menu. They offer an assortment of appetizers, entrees, and desserts that vary daily. Choose the items you want and enjoy! Pizza is also available and it is excellent. They have cappuccino and expresso as well. It is by far the best authentic italian food we have ever had in FL. Marco the chef is amazing. Check it out and enjoy the experience. You won’t be disappointed!

It’s good, it’s very good, but I don’t think being held hostage to not knowing what is coming and being able to make a decision especially when it comes to costs. Posting a chalk board maybe, is that too much to ask.

Dining Diva. We went with a party of 5. We were told the manner of ordering included 2 appetizers, 2 pastas and 2 entrees. We were not told of any other way to order. The food for the most part was very good, especially the ricotta gnocchi. The appetizers were wonderful. The ziti with a cheese on top was cold. The fish entree was excellent but was $40.00! The bracciole (spelling?) was not well prepared. The tiramisu was excellent. Unfortunately there was no tap water but there was a charge for Zephyryllis at $2.00 per small bottle. If tap water is a no no, they can get a filter and problem solved. We enjoyed the ambiance and service. It was professional & and yet I wish we were told of the options to order how much we wanted. We were not told everything was ala carte and assumed since it is family style, there would be a fixed price. If we knew the pricing, we could have made a more informed and knowledgeable decision. Overall the experience was satisfactory.

Wow! What a lovely surprise! Have Lived nearby for last several years, but never tried it! Cafe La Buca is delightful….a friend and I walked with with our BYOB wine, our waiter, set up the glasses, opened wine, brought us water at our request and told us about appetizers. He suggested Fresh Mozzarella stuffed with tomatoes and spinach $8.99; Brussels Sprouts sauted with pancetta topped with Parmesan $6.99 and a Grilled zucchini wrapped around light-as-a-feather ricotta $10.00. All were perfectly prepared, well seasoned and perfect size for two. Great starters with the hot bread. Our server then told us about the five pastas offered: gnocchi gratin, pasta bolognese, pasta with cherry tomatoes and Burrata, pasta with clams, pappardelle with mushrooms. We ordered two 1/2 orders of the pasta with clams $12.00 and mushroom pappardelle $18.00. The clam was delicately seasoned with lots of ocean flavor and the porcini mushroom pasta was generous with sliced mushrooms, onions, garlic and drizzled with a little truffle oil. Both were perfectly cooked and satisfying. Entrees included a couple steaks ( filet and rib eye), and a branzino in salt crust and snapper in aqua pazza. We decided to pass on main courses because we had eaten enough…but we ordered dessert… A generous serving of homemade tiramisu $9.00 .creamy, eggy, three different types of chocolate..dark milk and cocoa powder…with strong espresso and cappuccino 3.00 and 4.00 respectively. Total bill was $82.66…very reasonable for a high quality meal. Unlike some reviewers, we felt completely in control of how much food came to our table. We look forward to coming back to try main courses, pizzas and additional courses!

Not worth the price. Prices have gone way up. Too expensive. 16$ for a side of Brussel sprouts…..wow. 20$ for gnocchi and 40$ for greasy filet mignon. Give me a break!

We don’t really want to write a review because we want to keep this place a secret and not get too busy 🙂
