Zero customer service. After 15 minutes at our table no one came to take our order. That was my 1st complaint to management. An older gentleman not a waiter took our order. He forgot to bring the egg rolls. Had to go a 2nd time to complain to management. Another 20 minutes go by and we were so upset we got up and left. Management instead of apologizing started to argue with us that they were busy. Then they demanded we pay for the soup. They got their $4.00 but lost a customer who had frequented them. I will make sure to tell all my familia and friends not to go near the place. They have no concept of customer service or satisfaction.
Don’t trust the good reviews. I just ate at Peking Duck House for the second time last night. The first time, I went with a friend from New York who told me it’s just like the best Chinese restaurants in New York. I couldn’t believe she felt that way- we used to go to outstanding Szechuan and Hunan restaurants in New York and I couldn’t have disagreed with her more. I hated everything I ordered that time, from the egg drop soup to the simply awful eggroll, to the adequate main course. But there is such a lack of good restaurant choices in Broward County that I thought I would try it again after my daily workout at the gym. Again, the soup was OK, and the eggroll was still terrible. The main course I ordered, the chicken with cashew nuts, was not good. First of all, the waiter told me it was dark meat chicken, which is fine with me. He should have said it’s chicken remnants, because the pieces of chicken were miniscule and barely even qualified as chicken. It was cooked in a generic brown sauce, which is not really the right sauce for the dish- it should be in more of a clear sauce. I also had the pork fried rice- I was glad it wasn’t greasy, but it was tasteless and dry, and seemed like something was missing. The restaurant boasts very high ceilings and bright decor, and the clientele is mostly older. I’m older, too, but I don’t necessarily frequent places that cater to that demographic.I can’t believe that this place is fooling so many people- it’s nowhere near the quality of the better Chinese restaurants in New York, Toronto (which has some of the best Chinese food in North America), Houston or Los Angeles. I’m really interested in finding good Chinese food in Broward or Palm Beach County, but after trying this again, I would say the search is still ongoing. I’ve had much better Chinese food at Asian buffets and Chinese takeout places. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews- this is a poor choice and I won’t be back.
Excellent. Ordered take out Peking duck and eggplant dish. Amazing fresh flavor. Place is very busy on weekends for a reason.
This is not a Chinese buffet folks, this is the real deal. If you grew up on buffet you just might not like this place because it is very good, authentic Chinese food! Yes, new ownership and no, they are not Chinese and the woman I believe is the owner is less than friendly. I went for dinner, not to make friends. My waiter was Chinese and sweet and attentive and the food was great and always is.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! First of all, although it says Chinese food, there wasn’t one Asian person in there (not that that’s relevant) but it gets worse. The OWNER TOLD ME TO GET MY ORDER STRAIT!! First of all RUDE, you should NEVER tell a customer that and second of all this is AFTER I got take out and THEY forgot 3 of my dishes! So I used the gas money and the time to go pick up the food THEY forgot, then to top it off the Indian at the front desk tells me to get my order strait. To top it all off, I’m pregnant and I’m sorry but you don’t talk to pregnant women that way. I WILL NEVER go back and for the rest of my life I will tell people how BAD the service is. OH!! AND WHITE MEAT IS 2 DOLLARS EXTRA!!??? STUPIDEST THING I’VE EVER HEARD – RUDE SCAM ARTISTS.

This is the best place to get Chinese food, everything is good! Wouldn’t Go ANYWHERE ELSE!!
