After returning from a trip to NJ where I had at that point the best Mexican tacos I’ve ever had I came back home to SFL looking for much of the same. After a quick search I found that this place was not too far away from home. The food and service is great here. Add on the ambiance with the World Cup games and this is as Mexican as it gets. English or Spanish the service was dead on. The tacos were fantastic and l came back two days after my first visit. Highly recommend a visit.
Wow!. This is the best place to get REAL Mexican food in Broward or Palm Beach. I can’t believe that blogger is allowed to write such ignorant reviews like that… er wait, I guess anyone is allowed to blog.I’ve been to Mexico a couple of times, and this stuff comes really close. Sorry, no orange cheese or sour cream here. Sorry that there’s no ICED TEA — I guess you’ll have to live with one of their delicious agua frescas or Mexican cokes, made with real sugar. Aren’t restaurant reviewers supposed to try a wide variety of items from a menu to get a comprehensive idea of how good the food is? Perhaps don’t only try one thing. I’ve never had the chile relleno, but I have had almost every single kind of taco on the menu, plus gorditas (no, not like Taco Bell’s — sorry to disappoint), quesadillas (not like Applebee’s — darn!), and I forget what else. But everything is delicious, fresh, and cheap.I can’t believe that the blogger below compared this place to La Bamba. For shame.
Had the best tostada ever! Green and red salsas with thick tortilla chips. Then I enjoyed a world class chile relleno with copious cheese inside and a delicious delicate red sauce on top. Pintos and rice completed a perfect lunch. Best Mexican food in Broward County. I had almost given up, but now I will go there at least monthly!! Excellent!
The service is hit and miss, especially if you don’t speak Spanish, but the food is very good and authentic Mexican
I’m from Cali and I truly missed real Mexican food. This place is great and now I won’t be so home sick.
Had a burrito, and it had no flavor at all, guacamole had too much onions and super plain as well, i was expecting a real mexican dish, amd i think chili’s male better mexican food with the fajtas!
Good Food!. Went on a Sunday night, probably not best time to go, as they were out of some of the food. Also they wouldn’t give us extra chips or sauce. Waitress was busy, not sure why since there were more than enough servers. After saying all that the food was sooooooooooo GOOD, made up for everything else. I will go back, but not on a Sunday night , and maybe order take out.
