This was the nastiest barbecue I have ever eaten. I had ribs and dry rub wings. My wife had s combo plate of ribs pulled pork and wings. My wife took one bite and couldn’t eat anything else and not once did anyone ask why she didn’t eat. I would never go there again and would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I ordered ribs . Turns out I order by the rib. So I ordered 8 at $1.65 a price. Decided to add two sides. Mac& cheese and a potato salad. This was to carry out. When I get home the ribs were small and barely any meat. Potato salad had no flavor and Mac was terrible. the 2 sides come in these small I mean small containers . I was very disappointed . Long story short I wouldn’t recommend it. For what I paid I could have had a dinner with a beer at flamboyant. Good luck hog
The Hog is a snort short. We decided to try the restaurant after our evening plans changed. Why not try something new, we drive by all of the time, it’s local. I will warn you NOT to go there. We ordered take out consisting of sliced meats, 2 ribs, 2 wings with pulled pork and chicken. The 2 ribs consisted of one very fatty cold rib and a miniscule piece of something supposed to be the other rib. The wings were burned black to a crisp and in no way possible edible.The sliced smoked turkey was doused in salt but the pulled chicken and brisket were edible. Our sides were awful also…..slaw was swimming in a watery substance, spiced fries were a soggy mess of limp strings . Very disappointed will never return.

For those who has come and didnt like it Im sorry about your experience before me I have taken over the hog jun 1 2012, so if you havent been here since then, I dont take responsibility for your meals but Id like to ask you to try what I offer and if you honestly dont like it please ask for me and ill pay for your meal I dont expect anyone to pay for something they dont like I do things a little different I try to be my own critic and Im hard on myself so please give us a shot
The decor does not fit the food that’s served there. I went in with a craving for bbq and I left still wanting bbq. Nothing really stood out as memorable. We had the Hog Trough, which had pulled pork and chicken, brisket, pork sausage, and chicken. Every thing was pretty flavorless. They had 3 sauces on the table to try. Spicy one decent, putting that on the bland meat made it seem faintly like BBQ.
