Great fresh seafood! Yum!!!!! I ordered the tuna nachos and loved it. The porkchops were delicious. The atmosphere is good for a local’s bar. It’s attached to the Sandy Harbour hotel on the intercostal.
We hit the Rusty Hook for their Sunday brunch. We had no expectations and were really pleased by our meal. The BF got their endless mimosa/ros/bloody for 15$ and drank more than his share! The buffet had various options (awesome benedictine eggs and homemade smoked salmon were definition a big hit for me). The location by the water is really nice and we had a great time enjoying the sun on the patio. The staff was super friendly and we had good laughs with our server. We will definitely be back to try the dinner menu or just to chill with a drink on the patio!
Never again. Had dinner here the other night. First off they served our appitizers at all different times, a few plates came out, then about 5-10 minutes later a few more, etc. The ahi tuna appitizer was such a small amount I could barely get any on my fork. it is literally one MAYBE 2 bites total. The crab cakes tasted like they were microwaved. While eating the aps we ordered food…which took at LEAST an hour to get out after we ordered it! It got to the point where we had to ask how much longer it was going to be. They didnt have any bread or anything on the table to munch on while waiting. The food was okay, but nothing I would write home about. Esp for the price of the food, and the menu selection was poor. You either could get flounder, salmon or a ‘fish stew’, steak or a burger. It was also so loud with the live band playing we had to yell across the table. Our bill was $70 for an appitizer, and two entrees, and no drinks (only water)! Unfortunately we left hungry.I know this is a new restaurant and all that but I will never be back.
