Pasta and garlic rolls were awesome! owner started singing italian love songs it was great!
Ordered delivery was linguini with broccoli and sausage . They forgot to send the linguini . Called to complain had to argue with them to fix it . They didn’t want to send someone with linguini they wanted to give me a credit for next time . After arguing they sent someone with spaghetti , good enough. Food was so so , sauce was flavourful but spaghetti was overcooked and had a Mushy texture . Sausage was gross had chunks of bone in it. Ended up throwing out half of it . Do not recommend
So yummy!. My favorite is the penne ala vodka. Always al dente and perfect!
We go there every time we come to Lauderdale in the winter. Love the family and the food – very friendly and affordable. Really enjoy the friendly atmosphere!
Tried a slice of Grandmas pizza and it was horrible!! I would have been better off buying a pizza from the froZen section of the supermarket. The dough tasted horrible and their mozzerlla was horrible. Don’t waste your money or time. Def not a fan.
Grandma’s pizza at Umberto’s is the best pizza in S Florida…hands down.
Good in a pinch. It was getting late and we didn’t know where to go, so we found Umberto’s. It’s good for a night when you want to go out quick and not dress up. They have 4 places in Florida and they all have different menus. The one in Pompano is more like a restaurant (I think some are strictly pizzerias). I got the ravoli, ok but a little gummy tasting. DH enjoyed the lasanga and the pizza looked really good although I didn’t try any. Would return for the pizza.
