This is the best Chinese that I have found yet in Broward. Of course it is nothing like Chinese food in China, but for Florida, the quality is better than other Chinese restaurants I have tried. The szechuan steak is very good-tender and not chewy or fatty. Their combinations are a better deal and come with soup. (but the soup does not have much flavor).

I ordered this for carryout.15 Feb, 2010Good takeout, inexpensive Chinese food. Finally stopped at Wong’s Chinatown to get some take out Chinese food after noticing it while driving by on Cypress Rd several times–it’s on the corner of SW 6th St and Cypress Rd. It’s nothing fancy on the outside, or the inside, for that matter. There is seating if you want to eat in, but I ordered takeout. The Chinese food here is inexpensive. There’s a fair sized menu to choose from. The menu was printed in a font that was large enough that I could read it without pulling out my reading glasses. Like many such small restaurants, there was also a backlit photo menu on the wall of the more popular dishes. The Beef and Broccoli was pretty good with tender beef slices and the broccoli still crisp. It had more soy sauce than I like but that was my fault–I’d forgotten to ask them to go light on it. The Egg Roll was good too — the filling reminded me of my Dad’s egg rolls.I would return next time I’m in the area for more takeout.
