Great comfort food. Great breakfasts-love the biscuits and gravy-and the sausage patties are soooo good. Pancakes are thick and delicious-actually never had anything bad here. Love the caramel mocha coffee with whipped cream, and free refill…yes! For lunch or dinner, the pot roast sandwich is good, the chicken pot pie-if it’s not all gone-is good. Hubby likes the soups. Didn’t care for the hamburger-tastes like mystery meat. Salads are very good….save room for dessert-the pies are my favorite. Oh, I forgot, with breakfast you can get banana bread, cherry bread or pumpkin bread instead of biscuits or toast. So good.

Ok, so it’s not fine dining. What is is is basic comfort food and a reasonable price. For whatever reason (probably eating at the counter) my kids have love this place for a decade. It’s not going to empty your wallet either, probably why the fixed income set is always their in abundance. My personal attraction is the pot pie – just can’t get one this good anywhere else.
