Hot Dogs & Ice Cream. That’s it folks…and they are the best. Most people sdtop for a snack on their way home from the beach. It’s right under the Dunlawton bridge, and sometimes the parking is a little wierd, It’s a walk-up window with just a few picnic tables outside. Love the chili cheese dog. Great sundaes and shakes and cones, all soft serve. Banana splits are great. This is like stepping back in time.

I’ve been going here for 40 years, and although not much has changed, that’s a good thing. I haven’t lived in this area for 20 years, but everytime I’m in town (once a year), I have to hit this place at least twice a week for the peanut butter shakes. Good chili dogs, too, and soft serve for the kids. It’s not a restaurant, but a vital place for after a day at the beach.
I just recently tried their chili cheese dogs, and they are solid. Best dogs in the daytona area, I think.10 Jul, 2009Nice treats. Great, cheap treats for after the beach. Offers basics like soft serve, slushies, hot dogs, sundaes, etc. I personally love the maple walnut topping over vanilla ice cream. HOWEVER, I have to warn it’s a little sketchy here, no security or anything, and my wallet was actually stolen here. So just keep an eye out, I wouldn’t recommend staying because there are only 2 picnic tables to eat at and they are ramshackle and dirty. Just take it to go and enjoy it for what it is: a cheap cold treat, perfect for after a long day on the hot beach.
Good shakes. Omg, i had a peanut butter shake here and I still have dreams about it. Super good soft serve.
