Love it. Everything at this restaurant is always on point. The staff is friendly and efficient. I go every time I come back to town. Always my first stop. Owners are good at showing their smiling faces which is always refreshing to see. Keep it up !
Great restaurant. This has to be our favorite place to eat in Volusia county. Everything we have ordered has been cooked to perfection. Try the steak filet or the salmon with tomato lime sauce. We eat there at least once a week and have something different each time. Great service and food and the selections are reasonably priced.
True Excellence. After an innumerable amount of trips to this establishment I have absolutely nothing bad to say. The guys is always excellentd as well as the service. I prefer the Monterey Chicken for dinner and they have a fabulous cinnamon French toast that is great for brunch. Missing on meals there is really the only thing I really miss about leaving Port Orange for Edgewater. I used to live right around the corner at the apartments and walk over fire dinner regularly. Definitely give them a try.

Sad. We have gone to eat there several times and enjoyed it but we went last night and we were very disappointed. 2 of our party were diabetic and needed to eat. We asked the waiter several times where our food was and he finally said the kitchen lost the ticket but our food would be up in 3 minutes. 10 minutes later we asked again. We waited over an hour. there was butter all over on 1 plate after we said no butter.potatoes were cold. not even a dinner roll. our out of town people said never again after they went to the ladies room and it was dirty and dusty in the stalls. We hope . The manager offered free dessert which of course we refused. I hope they fix whatever happened to this place. It used to be so good.
Great food, Great service!. My boyfriend and I have been to Monterey a couple of times, and every time we go it continues to impress us! During or visit last night we sat in the bar area and usually I don’t like sitting in the smaller booths, but our service made up for it. He never neglected us, we always had full drinks, kept our table clean, and was really friendly. If I hadn’t watched him answer the phone, sit people, and take care of to-go customers, and bar-tend I would have thought he was just a normal server that’s how good he was, I was amazed how good of a multi-tasked he was!
Great atmophere. Monterey Grill has been by far one of the best restaurants I have been to. I keep going back every chance I get. My entire family loves the place and everyone that works there. The food is great!!!! The staff is polite, professional and very personable. The staff appearance is very professional. Is like going to a fancy restaurant without paying the high prices. I command the owners for their idea and for their dedication for Monterey Grill. It shows that everyone cares and love where they work. You can see the pride the staff has.
