I asked the sales clerk for a dozen bagels to go, unsliced. When I got home I checked my purchase and discovered there were only 12 bagels, not 13 as I expected. Not only that but the clerk rang up the purchase as 2 half dozen purchases at $5.99 each when a full dozen (not a baker’s dozen) is sold for only $9.99. This means I ended up paying $2.00 more. What a rip off. The bagels were good but I don’t like being cheated.

No bread bowls. How is a place known for it’s bread continually out of bread bowls? I’ve tried FOUR times in the last week to bring home a bread bowl soup for my wife, because it’s her favorite. They never have any.

Bad fast food. Yuk. Had a supposed caesar salad that was made mostly of iceberg lettuce. Don’t put caesar salad on your menu if you don’t what it is. Had a sandwich of some unmemorable sort. I’d rather eat at Wendy’s.

Like it. Good, hearty comfort food. The building is very convenient, located near a lot of other things on the Dunlawton strip in Port Orange. Of course, Panera food in general is not very good for you, nutritionally speaking. High in fat and sodium, and so on, and don’t get me started on those pastries…but if you’re not in the mood to care about that, then DEFINITELY indulge here!
