Vanilla Bean, best around!!!. I have been using Vanilla Bean since they opened. To have a small business option for bakery items is exactly what the area needs! Their flavors are amazing and they often experiment with their cupcakes. Their cheesecakes are AMAZING as well, the tiramisu cheesecake, seriously, the best cheesecake ever (and I am not a fan of tiramisu). They offer gluten free and vegan (order in advance) which is so accommodating to parties with children having food allergies and their gluten free brownies are the best brownies I have ever had (especially if they add frosting to them). I have used this bakery for birthday cakes and their creative design and ideas far surpass expectations. Its nice to have owners who care about the customers and as a consumer, I love giving my money to local business and not chains! This place is a must
Fantastic, Special find!. I happened to be craving some sweets, but unfortunate this area is very limited in its bakery selection. I looked up bakeries for Port Orange and saw the Vanilla Bean Cupcake factory, I set that in the back of my mind telling myself I would try and go one day. After work One day I decided to go and get some cupcakes for my husband and his work employees, I walked in a two very nice women (both the only 2 owners/employees) were there to help me! I picked an assortment of 12 cupcakes, there were tons of flavors to choose from!!! Well…They were a hit! Every single one of them were tasty! I read some other reviews and it seems that some people have different preferences when it comes to how they like their cupcakes. I thought they were perfect, I prefer a denser type of cake most of the time.The icing is amazing, probably the best I have ever had!I went again today to get 12 more, I am pleased again and I will return and hopefully get a cake, or cheesecake one day!Only criticisms are the hours , and the website states they are open Monday through-Saturday but when you get there it states one the door Tuesday-Friday. Also, the location worries me, I hope they are able to stick around, it doesn’t seem like they are easily spotted.
Not a satisfied customer. This past saturay we celebrated my grandchilds birthday she turned 1. We had ordered cupcakes and a small cake just for the baby. We had discussed the order with them 4 times to be sure it was correct and they still got it wrong. The cupcakes were supposed to be flavored and food coloring to make them pastel. None of this was done. When we picked them up they were supposed to be lemon, strawberry, key lime and vanilla. The strawberry had some taste the lemon was ok the others were just vanilla. The frosting was supposed to be the same as the cupcakes and again not done correctly. They tasted stale like they were made some time before they were not fresh as all. They forgot to give us the baby’s cake and we had to go back and get it. It was very hard like it had been frozen. So all in all not a good experience and I would not buy or order from them again and I would not recommend them to anyone either.

They were just.. alright. Went to Vanilla Bean bakery today and bought a dozen mini cupcakes. the carrot was good, But the cream cheese frosting was really heavy on your month and was hard to swallow. almost like goop. the chocolate on chocolate was kind of dry and the icing was way to sweet. way way too sweet. I could tell the frosting had been sitting on the cupcake a while because it has a hard crust on the top and was tough to bite into. Im not sure I will go back to the bakery, I might as well save money and buy the mix at the store and make my own.
Fantastic cupcakes!. A dear client of mine brought me 6 cupcakes from Vanilla Bean Cupcake Bakery and they were awesome. I absolutely loved each and every one of them and had trouble sharing. The peanut butter, carrot cake and banana were my favorites. I have recommended them to several of my friends and we are never disappointed.
