Celtic Ray Irish Pub, E. Marion, Punta Gorda, Fl, Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat.First food. See my pic. $11.00 for this meal. The fish though fried properly was bad. It was not fresh. The best way to describe it was kinda stringy. The portion size was way too small. The chips were just frozen steak fries. Cole slaw was ok. The best part was the irish soda bread. I never had it before and tasted pretty good. Overall for 11 bucks this is not worth my time, money or going here. I can think of 5 eateries in The Cape/Ft. Myers area that outshines this place.The service was ok.People that think this is good just once again proves my point. Floridians have unsophisticated taste bud. They just do not know good food.In my humble opinion look some where else.
Best fish and chips you will ever have! Great atmosphere, great people, and great food. Favorite place to grab a drink in downtown Punta Gorda.

Overpriced bar food. It the meal was okay. It was extremely overpriced for what you got. I would not reccomend it.
I Liked It…. Went here on the advise of some friends. We had some British dishes and they came out of the kitchen hot and yummy. Ordered a few beers as well. During our meal we saw a couple set up to play Irish music, so we stayed and listened for a while. They were good! We enjoyed ourselves here and we will give them another shot.Some of the other reviews have me wondering if they get overwhelmed at times. It was about half full when we got there and mostly full when we left and everyone seemed to be having a good time too.Thumbs up.
Was in town looking for a bite eat….saw it and stopped. Great food and cold beer!!
One word…amazing!! Great food and best beer in Charlotte county.
