The reason that this restaurant receives poor reviews is because the food is simply substandard. This restaurant has super potential with nice decor and waterfront views. If you own or manage this restaurant, do yourself a favor and fire your entire cook staff and hire a trained seafood chef. We will flock to your place…but for now we aren’t going back due to too many poor meals.

Nice restaurant with beautiful views but smoking is allowed and we ended up moving to an inside table. Food is good, some of the sushi is a bit pricy for what it was. Ordered the lobster Mac and it had a good amount of lobster and a good portion of food in general. Favorite was the coconut shrimp appetizer!
Went with our parents on our way back from Ft. Myers. The view outside was really nice – overlooked the marina. We ordered the Yum-yum sushi roll to start and it was pretty good (definitely better with the spicy mayo). Our food took a little while to come out but our waitress kept us informed of its stays and we had cold drinks so it was fine. I had the crab cake sandwich (on a croissant) with sweet potato fries. Both were really good and hot. We all agreed the sweet potato fries were some of the best we’ve had. Other orders included the Fritto burger, grouper wrap and grouper rueban. Everyone was pleased with their choices. It’s a bit pricey but there’s tons of outside seating and on a nice day it’s worth it. We’d likely go back.
Don’t order the lobster roll, it’s not a roll , it comes on a hotdog bun!!??
Never Again!. Went to laishley crab house last night in Punta Gorda….and it was just an awful dining experience….from the host to the server…they acted like we were an inconvenience to them….wanted a bottle of wine, no wine list, server couldn’t tell us what wines they had……..reluctantly, had to go to the bar and find out what wine they had…..one of us ordered grouper….had to send it back, looked like shoe leather……she waited 25 minutes for a replacement…….I had scallops, they weren’t done…..whole experience more like Long John Silver’s than fine dining…..we have tried this establishment 4-5 times over the last 3 years…keep hoping it will get better….but never again….
So many mixed reviews. I had a lovely experience tonight. Sure service is a little slow at sunset – so I just relaxed and enjoyed the sunset! Then I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster and my very helpful and friendly waitress. Beautiful views. Great meal.
