Great place to get lunch. The weekly lunch specials are always great deals. The food is amazing. Don’t go if you are in a rush because it is always a packed house.
My third visit did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was amazing except for the crispy prawns. The only thing I’ve ever had there that missed. Hopefully the chef can adjust that recipe to make it more exciting.. The scallops and crab were amazing!! Rack of lamb was thoroughly enjoyed by my boyfriend. The carrot cake?? Pure genius! Crem brle? Unbeatable!! I love this restaurant! Staff is perfect! The Perfect Caper is exactly that!15 Nov, 2014Celebrated my 60th b day there last night. What a delight!! The artistry of the presentation as well as the food was BEYOND compare. The frois frois was absolutely devine!! Well… Everything was… I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has an appreciation for artistic food!
Like a Wonderful Gift You Give to Yourself. It do not know if it gets much better than Perfect Caper. Food, service, setting are all top notch. Parking? Not as good as the food. And what wonderful food. Best calamari I have ever tasted and consistent every time. Pate? try it and you will be hooked. Everything I have eaten there is very good to GREAT. We sometimes go there after supper at home for their chocolate cake,: dense, rich, moist and very pleasurable. I winter in Punta Gorda from central Minnesota and Perfect Caper is my first fine meal after I arrive. Last one also before I go back. Try it, you will love it.

Delicious!. We live in Punta Gorda part time and have dined at the Caper several times. We love the food, service is top notch and they never disappoint. Having said that I wish they would expand or change the menu as I have tried everything on it at least once! Wine list is great too.

This was perfect. Just what we were looking for, delicious and elegant. Everything was so good. We ate ate the bar and the service was terrific. Nice all the way around. A 10!
