Unacceptable. I was told Melrose Cafe was a good place. The pancakes were undercooked and doughy and the bacon not much better. When the bacon was sent back, it was crunchy balls like it was put in a deep fryer. I ate less than 1/3 of a pancake one small piece of cooked bacon. The waitress picked through the plate with my fork and said I should of ask for it more done when I orginally ordered. I didn’t know you had to request done pancakes! First and last visit to Melrose Cafe.
Nice folks, good food. A regular stop for us when we are in Melrose. Nothing fancy, just good family cooked food. Great for breakfast or double cheesy burgers and fries.
Good Breakfast. Stopped in here one morning for breakfast, and was a nice surprise. The breakfast was very good (especially the biscuts). I sat outside on the front porch and read the complimentary paper. Priced right, and even looked like it had a drive through.
