Dinner for two!. Beautiful ocean front setting. One dinner was the crab ‘carbonara, and the other was the Parmesan encrusted grouper with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Extremely yummy! Looking forward to booking the Chef’s Table for our next visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
Perfection!. I was looking for a place overlooking the ocean to have a small lunch party for my mom’s birthday. 3800 Ocean turned out to be it! The staff was VERY accommodating. Stephanie helped make sure everything was how we wanted it. She sat us near the grand windows overlooking the ocean/beach. Deanne, the pastry chef emailed me right away and they were able to do a custom carrot cake that was the best carrot cake any of us had ever had. Seriously, the food was absolutely delicious and affordable. Our waiter, Fran was very attentive. They all made the event so beautiful and my mom loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion (whether it be a lunch/dinner for two, a party, a wedding, etc.,). Fantastic atmosphere, food and staff!
Checked in the hotel on New Year’s eve. Went outside for lunch, beautiful ocean view. Food not prepared as menu states and as ordered, but still good. Service was slow even though there were not a lot of people in either the indoor or outdoor lounges.
Wonderful in so many ways. My wife and I had our wedding reception here and it was for lack of a better word…magical. The head chef was so great, she executed our planned menu perfectly. I still have cravings for Sweet Potato Gnocchi with sage butter sauce, one of the best appetizers i have ever had. We go back for our anniversary every year and the awesome staff still remember us and treat us like gold. The view is stunning and anything on the menu is delicious. Please treat yourself to a meal here, you wont be disappointed.

Fine night out. Lovely surroundings, terrific service and excellent food. Had a wonderful dinner here. It is so nice to get dressed up for a dinner date and have a restaurant experience that matches the special effort I made to look my best for the evening. The seafood, especially the grouper, was fantastic.
Well played. We ate at 3800 for a birthday dinner, and I was very pleased. Our reservation and request for an Oceanside table were both met. Our server was excellent, lending opinions and generally quite informative. The tuna poke was very good, with just the right balance of sesame oil, and very fresh, very firm tuna. I had the NE Scallop entree, which was a great preparation. The wild mushrooms and greens added a nice earthy note, and with the excellently seared scallops, gave the dish a surf and turf feel. I loved it. My girlfriend had the grouper filet, and while it looked great, I can’t comment on the taste; she finished it before I got the chance! All in all, a great meal, and a surprise for a hotel restaurant.
