Charred Steak, Terrible Service. My fiancee and I came here for a late Valentine’s date, since I was interested in the haunted history and had never been. We ordered pasta and steak, which I asked for to be cooked as medium. It came out charred. Considering our waitress took so long to come check on us, I attempted to eat some of it and cut into the middle to see if it was medium inside. Completely well done. When I told the waitress after she finally cam by to deliver the bill, she said she couldn’t do anything about it because the owner was gone. Seriously? I only wanted 10% off. Then she took it back and showed the cooks, who said because I’d eaten ‘half’ of it that I couldn’t get anything. That’s the biggest load of horses*it I’ve ever heard. You didn’t cook it right. And give your server the authority to take something off the bill. She didn’t even seem very apologetic or helpful. Very disappointed in the service, food, and overall experience. Never coming back.

Cheerful service. Ate here again after a long time – the tilapia fillets were overdone, fries were okay. The place is long on atmosphere and short on great food – but ok for a quick meal. Kind of like a fast food place but with restaurant prices….

Its like the day matched the occasion a dreary day gor dreay un edible food. From the moment i walked through the doors of Ashleys you are with a blast of the old world, full of spirits and spooky tales its a perfect haunted location. But thats just it! The food was terrible flat out, to start i tried the coconut shrimp and the stuffed mushrooms, the shrimp looked like the were picked out of a frozen dinner box you’d buy at publix, just microwaved and plopped down on a plate. The mushrooms on the other hand ha no presentation what so ever! They were so small that i could litteray put all 8 of them in my mouth, they were also swimming in oil litteraly! For my entree i was recommended the chicken parmigana with a ceasar salad. The salad was awful just plain and simple, the chicken parm itself was not to great ethier for the price it was, the marinara sauce was litterally plucked off the shelf from a store, the pasta was completely stuck together i picked the whole thing up with my fork, it looked undercooked so i did not end of eating that. Ashleys might have been a great place the eat back in the 1800s but something deffinitely must happen to that resturant the atmosphere deffinitely matched the food dreary, depressing, ab most importantly BLAND. If there were to be at least 1 shining star it would be the ghost stories that i heard. Other then that I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

Very rarely do you walk into a restaurant, and know within five seconds what the food will be like, and unless you are in the age range of 55 to 80, your guess will be right. Although you do get an atmosphere of an old place and stories of hauntings, at the end of the day its more enjoyable than the most important thing; the food. The food was terrible, simply put. The stuffed mushrooms were nothing short of rancid. Poor quality food, and I suggest going nowhere near this place.

Good food! Eggplant parmesan was better than olive garden.

We have visited many times and the food is fabulous. Lots to choose from. Service is friendly, always very accommodating. We can’t wait to come back to our favorite restaurant in Rockledge.
