Skinny Margaritas. Fresh lime juice and agave09 Oct, 2014BUSY?!?!. Wow, went to La Cocina Tuesday night and it was like watching a swarm of bees attack the bar. So many people and not so many bartenders! My husband and i sat at the bar and got great service despite the rush of rude customers harassing an obviously understaffed bar. The 2 bartenders that were working, very tall bald man and a kind, funny brunette were smiling and joking with us throughout it all. We have both been servers before and know how it can be when things get overwhelming but i just wanted to say what a great staff the owners have put together here. The food was delivered quickly even though they were busy. We went back the next afternoon to eat again. We actually might be back before our vacation ends on Sunday. Cheers to La Cocina for the great food and drinks in spite of some very impatient customers.
Skip visiting this one. Bland and below average fajitas. The scallop dish was poor, as the broccoli had no flavor and the scallops were covered in a white sauce which was forgettable.
