Stopped by to check out their breakfast on a Sunday, as are located in the corner a strip mall so there is plenty of shared parking out front. Upon arrival there were (3) separate parties waiting to be acknowledged at the hostess stand. There didn’t appear to be a dedicated hostess so each of the waitresses appeared to be taking turns at seating arriving guests. When we were acknowledged they were out of menus but we seated as they went to locate us one. After placing our order there was a substantial wait until the food was served, but there really wasn’t that many people in the restaurant as less than 1/4 of the place was filled. While waiting on our food we observed several more parties arrive without being greeted by a hostess only to have the nearest waitress pulled away to seat them after an awkward waiting process. Our drinks (mimosa and coffee) went empty and unacknowledged as our waitress seemed to spend more time running back and forth seating people than taking care of her customers. I don’t think it was the waitresses fault and I usually chalk it up to poor management. The presentation on the mimosa was refreshing to see for a southern diner and in general the food was pretty good as I really enjoyed their biscuits and gravy. However the overall service and experience was uninviting and didn’t show anything that would leave me wanting to come back for more.
