I really love this place. That have great food but today I was let down. A friend and I were excited to eat here and drove about 25 minutes out to get there. When we walked through the door there were about three other tables sat. We were told that they have a health inspector coming and they had to close and we were denied service. This was around 230pm or so. This seems really shady to me. I have never heard of a restaurant closing because a health inspector was coming unless a health inspector was closing the restaurant because it got poor marks yet it appeared at least one table was waiting on their food. I’m kind of curious what is so wrong in the kitchen that you need to close the restaurant midday to prepare for an inspection.Do I have to call ahead of time to make sure they’re not expecting a health inspection?Should I call ahead make sure my service is convenient?Should I call ahead to make sure im not going to be denied service?I’m just so frustrated because I really do love there ramen here but now I just don’t know if I ever want to come back.
