Great Weekday Morning Healthy Breakfast. I love going to Hilary’s for a inexpensive, healthy breakfast during the week. Coffee is free with the meal and I can get Egg Whites, Oatmeal and an English muffin.The staff is always very nice! I cannot comment on the lunch, but I really enjoy my breakfast here!
Below average. This diner needs cleaning and repainting, new chairs/tables. The food is below par, overcooked eggs, undercooked home fries (soggy and tasteless), beige hollandaise sauce, weak coffee. Give the place a miss until they sort out their cooks and decor.
Fantastic. Not sure how anybody could not like this place. yeah it probably hasn’t been renovated in 25 years or maybe more, but the food is great! This is what diner food is supposed to be good, hearty, made fresh meals. This was the 2nd best rueben I have ever had. The staff was great, the food was great, and the prices were great. We will certainly head there again before we go back to Wisconsin. I haven’t had breakfast yet, but if it’s anything like lunch I’ll take 2. Not sure how this place got any negative reviews. I’m usually pretty particular on here, but this place really nailed it.

Great home cooking. I have been coming here for 20 years, its better now than when I first starting coming here. Food is always fresh, and homemade. My favorite meal is lunch because of the variety, also has good service. Breakfast and dinners are great too. The best chipped beef on toast I have had anywhere[Sunday breakfast only]. Reasonable prices, takeout available.
Good Place….Great food!. I have been going there for 13 years…….very NY style. Love it! Good varied menu , great condiments, HUGE sandwiches. Service is generally excellent. Look forward to large glasses of real brewed iced tea, never ending coffee refills, and pleasant staff.
Hilary’s. Too expensive!!! Tuna melt for $9.00 which does not come with anything!
