The food is great but if you call for delivery the staff is very unpleasant on the phone. If you can’t talk with respect or good customer service then I’ll go else where. Teach staff some phone skills.
Ordered take out. Girl on phone was entirely unfamiliar with the menu. I wanted a pasta dish I saw on the website, she had never heard of it. She asked someone else about it and was told it was discontinued. I asked if there was anything similar with a white wine sauce and she was completely unable to recommend anything. I ordered penne aka vodka which she at least recognized. When I picked it up and got it home I found that the salad was missing- despite the fact that the restaurant had only one customer in the place when I picked up the order and could not use business as an excuse for the missing salad. The pasta was soggy, the sauce bland. By the way- they indeed had a pasta with a light white wine sauce on the menu as I found when I picked up the order. I doubt that I will go back to try it .
I have been to sals twice in the last few months….. Everytime we eat there we have experienced bad service. We just kept thinking we had caught the on a bad night…. The last time we were there our server had friends at the table next to ours…. She kept setting down with them and completely ignored us. We needed drink refills, extra sauce, ect….Totally annoying. The pizza isn’t anything speical and it it’s very expensive. We ordered to go pizza once and four pizza’s came out to almost $80!!!! Way to much for so-so pizza. We much prefer Anthony’s coal fired pizza just a few miles a away….
Amazing, The food was amazing. It was real authentic Italian. Lasanya was yummy My wife said she love the grill chicken salad. It was enough for two people the portions are huge. Melinda was our waitress and the service was extraordinary. When we ate there we were very well taken care of
There r a couple of Sal’s in this area but this one has the best food and service hands down. I have tried all three of them. It beats going to all the chain restaurants that seem to rule this neighborhood anyday
Best mistake to ever come knocking at our door! 9 years ago when we first moved to Wellington we got a surprise when a Sal’s delivery driver showed up at our door. Apparently the people who had just moved out of our house had ordered a pizza but hadn’t updated their address. One look at that pizza though had us hooked! Their pizza is amazing, their garlic rolls are incredible, service is great, wine is great, pasta is great. Sal’s is just simply, a wonderful place and we are so glad they found us 9 years ago
