This was my first time here. I got the pulled pork plate which came out ice cold. The sauces were really salty and not hot. I would have considered coming back but serving meat cold is just nasty.
MENU. I don’t appreciate the fact that you can’t find any prices on any of the menus advertised on line. It helps to know what the menu items cost so you have some idea of what you can afford to spend, before you spend the time and cost of gasoline to take your family to eat there.
Not Worth It. Overall bad experience. Had to wait on staff to come to counter when we got there despite the restaurant not being crowded. Thirty minutes to get two dinners to go because they didn’t mention the order was ready when it came out. Forgot to put the sides in one dinner resulting in another ten minutes of waiting. And while the ribs were tender and fell off the bone it was very bland and we ended up adding our own seasonings at home. Not worth it.
Blows Shortys away. I grew up in Miami and have been eating Shortys since I was a toddler but there is no comparison to Shane’s. I now order Shane’s 2-3 times a week for my family in Wellington area. They just can not get enough. The pork and the ribs are the best anywhere in Dade, Broward or Palm Beach county. It is always consisant and priced very fairly.
Not the best; the food was a little bland. A step above fast food, but you can do much better for local BBQ.
Great burgers too.
Tasty BBQ. The food here is very good, along with the prices. Yet good food portions and even more reasonable prices, for DELICIOUS food, can be found at Shorty’s BBQ in Palm Beach Gardens, you should check it out ASAP!!
