Hitting the Mark, MostlyFor a small town, Safety Harbor has a big collection of good restaurants. Marker 39 has joined that group.The setting is refined casual and quite comfortable. Theres seating inside and out. The staff members are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable.Unfortunately, they dont have a full bar. Instead they make a couple of drinks with a wine base. So we started off with a pleasant sangria. Later we got a couple of glasses of wine from their decently list.For food we started with their delicious Nemo rolls, Shrimp Bisque soup and Cornmeal Oyster appetizer. We share everything and they piled us up by bringing it all at the same time so we felt rushed. I clearly told them to slow down the rest of the service since I didnt want more plates landing on what we already had. Nevertheless, our large salad was dropped on our table while we were still enjoying our appetizers and soup.The salad was the only mediocre food item. It was uninspired and bland. For our main course (also delivered before our salad was done) we had a delicious Ahi Tuna. With it we had a tasty side of stir-fry veggies. It was a bit disappointing that some veg wasnt included with the entre.I would go back but I would skip a salad and I would be extra-extra clear and demanding that I dont want food dropped on the table on top of other courses.

Unfortunately, they had no food for us. We were told that they had run out, and there were no apologies, no discounts, and no concern about it. I don’t understand why they seated us without telling us they had run out of food. We ended up leaving and ordering a pizza. I am so disappointed as I love to support the local community having lived here since 1991. Go to Southern Fresh or Bar Fly as they rock! This place will not be open for long with service like this which is too bad as it had so much potential!

Order the shrimp tempura appetizer and definitely end with the crme brle!Service was wonderful with Brie and Justin (our chef)also came out to speak with us for feedback which we really liked!
The new kid on the block is making it’s mark! (Pun intended) Tried this little gem on a Friday night had chorizo ball appetizer which was flavorful and delicious. I had mahi which was light and my husband had braised short ribs. The braised ribs were so rich and savory absolutely amazing! We split an apple pastry dessert that was just perfect. Go try this great little place it’s quaint and wonderful with a great staff.
