The sushi here is delicious. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. They have normal sushi and pricier Suso in the menu. They also have a full Asian menu. This is good food without the pricier ambiance of some other places. Charlie and his family are welcoming and the restaurant is clean and friendly.24 Nov, 2012Love this place!. The best sushi in Pinellas County, bar none! Love the new location. Charlie is the best!

Heard rave reviews about this place from some coworkers and I can’t seem to understand why for the life of me. Ordered a Shirley temple and it arrives with hardly any grenadine and no cherries, sweet. The miso soup was extremely salty and the ginger dressing was spicy on the salad with old looking lettuce. On to the krap ragoons. Flavorless and the sauce was atrocious. Shrimp and pork shumai. The pork shumai was 90% fat and I bit into something hard. California rolls. Extremely tiny and just yet again no flavor. Asked our server for spicy mayo which never arrived as she was too busy having a grand conversation with some pals at the bar. Terrible service, terrible food. Will never return.

Formerly Kaiko’s Still THE BEST!. I have been eating Sushi with Charlie from before he opened Kaiko’s so I am quite biased. I have eaten sushi all over the country and have yet to find a better place. Charlie’s fish is always the freshest with ample portions. If you love sushi, this is the place for you, best in the bay for 15 years for a reason.

It is good affordable sushi, drinks are cheap too. It is late, 10:30PM and you are feening for some sushi and a few brewskies. Where to go without breaking the bank. This is the place to be. DJ can use some work though.

Sushi. Ate here a couple of days ago. The sushi was very sub-par for what I’m used to eating (I’m from a small town in NC near the coast, so it’s not as if I’ve been eating the best sushi in the world) The fish was soggy and soft. I wouldn’t eat there again.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Our server Nina was super attentive and wry helpful with recommendations. Sea urchin and hamachi were ultra fresh. Prices were not crazy and selection was nice. Highly recommend!
