Sandra M. – Orlando. Ate at Meat n Fire last night. We both had dry rub ribs which were excellent, very meaty. The sweet potato souffle was awesome and the okra was great. Will recommend to friends and neighbors!
The BBQ was wonderful. The only brisket in town worth eating! The staff was personable and the portions bigger than anything else in town.
Authentic BBQ. Brisket , Pork, Chicken and all the fixins made with quality in mind. I discovered this place by accident and enjoyed talking with the folks running it. They are a family and that tells me they are not a franchise. This makes me happy as I go out of my way to support small family businesses. As far as the meal… I was stuffed with quality meat and sides (I had potato salad and collard greens). Flavor and quality matter to me and they serve up tons of both. Try em ….you’ll like em!
Very pricey for what you get small portions on the sides. Had the pork sandwich need to upgrade bun. Pork was real good. Was surprised to see sweet baby rays BBQ sauce on the table most BBQ have their own signature sauces and would maybe use a brand name as a base. Definitely would not advertise it. I can get that sauce at publix
I am originally from North Carolina and my father was in the Lexington style Barbeque business. I always love to try new Barbeque places just for the childhood nostalgia. I tried meat n fire tonight for the first time, which I have been looking forward to since I saw the sign go up. The meat was good and tender. I had the pulled chicken my husband the chopped pork. The only thing that was missing is a good sauce. I like a true vinegar based and my husband like more of a hearty spicy sweet but none of the sauces available complimented the well cooked meat. The sides we chose were fried okra, undercooked and green not golden brown. The onion ring batter had no seasoning or flavor. The potatoes in the salad was too big of chunks. I really want to like this place because it is close to Harmony, so I will give them another try maybe at lunch.
New BBQ in St. Cloud. My girlfriend and I ate here last Saturday. Way overpriced. I had the Carolina sandwich and she had the brisket. The sides were very small, we both had beans and potato salad. I would not recommend at this price.
