I really like the salads and that I could get Blue Rose Kombucha but was disappointed to hear they discontinued the Mother Kombucha on tap today. It was a big draw for me. Would also like to see them bring back gluten free pizza. I have had a number of great meals here.
Really really good food but sloppy service! When we arrived the place was packed inside however, we didn’t wait long to be seated outside. We were in desperate need of coffee so we ordered it right away. The waitress spilled the coffee on our table and a little splattered on us, she apologised and rushed off to get something to clean it up. Eventually another waitress came and dropped of a ton of napkins on our table, we had to clean the spill ourselves… I wasn’t impressed. The replacement coffee arrived slightly above lukewarm. The wife ordered a delicious tuna bowl with crispy onions, scallions and sticky rice. I had an egg bowl that had egg whites, potatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach, it had a fresh taste to it but I felt it was a little under seasoned. The portions were definitely filling and left us satisfied. Our waitress brought the bill prematurely while my wife was still busy eating, she placed it on top of a used dirty lemon which we thought was a pretty strange thing to do. I leaned back expecting her to clear the small table from my large empty bowl, the 2 empty side plates (which had the used lemon on it), the wet napkins, my empty coffee cup and saucer but she just left. She came back 5 minutes later asking if the bill was ready (it wasn’t), still not clearing the table. Even when the bill was ready, she picked it up, swiped, brought it back and left, still without clearing the table.I would love to give this cool restaurant a 4.5 but the service was a real downer.
