The food was decent (although not as good as other BJ’s locations I’ve been to many times previously), but the service at this particular location was terrible. I had to practically beg to get a soda refill and ketchup for my fries (which arguably shouldn’t be things you have to ask for to begin with at a restaurant of this caliber) after I politely asked for them 5 minutes before when I was first given my food (the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time). Our waitress failed to remember who ordered what when the food was delivered (she also failed to remember who ordered what drinks before we ordered our food). She then also failed to give the right checks to the right people at our table which was only 2 couples and then myself. I have low expectations when it comes to service, so I get pretty upset when they are not met. My bill was $14 and some change and the waitress acted shocked when I asked for change after I gave her a $20 bill as if she was entitled to a premium tip for well-below average service. Then to add insult to injury, she gave me a $5 bill to go with the change. I had some ones in my wallet, however. I left $2 and the change, which I felt was overly generous given the bad service. This was by far my worst experience at a BJ’s, and I will not be returning to this location or recommending it to any of my friends from the Fort Myers area.
