Visited today. Usually good food was not. Eggs and waffles arrived cold. It was very busy but surely they have a holding area with heat lamps. Disappointing after many years of good experiences. Service was fine. Too many other choices that are consistently good to return anytime soon. Maybe after the snowbirds go home?

Tried several times for breakfast ordered several different items. Prices are cheap and so is the food. Waitresses don’t seem to care. Fruit compo for the French toast always comes out ice cold which makes your french toast ice cold, have to beg to get it microwaved. Hollendaise sauce for the eggs benedict came out thick, clumpy and curdled. The sauce actually sat in spoonfull dollops on the eggs. When a complaint was made waitress argued and insisted it has been coming out like that all morning. Really?! And this is the first complaint?! No management came to apologize tried to sneak the eggs benedict on the bill even though it we sent it back before the waitress could leave the table. Then felt unwelcomed there for the remainder of breakfast. Tried lunch and a dessert. Crappy frozen fries and semi-edible sandwich. Ordered an apple crisp for a dessert, came ice cold and tasting like the walk in. I really wanted to ask the girl that served it if she would eat that. I’ve given this restaurant several opportunities and after the eggs Benedict situation I will NEVER go here again.
Poor quality of food. The sandwiches are very greasy. The potatoes and gravy are either from a jar or instant. Waitress was not very knowledgable and the prices really arent very reasonable. Ordered the chili burger, got runny chili with a burger that was so over cooked I needed a knife to eat it. Fries are plain and from a frozen bag. Tried several times but always a lousy experience.
Simple. Friendly staff, great food, quaint atmosphere… Reminds me of the north Great coffee. The western omelet was light and fluffy and the hash browns done to perfection. The chicken biscuits and gravy were very good. Gravy done well, not to thick or thin with plenty of sausage If you like down home cooking made simple where the atmosphere reminds you of home this is the place.
Wonderful Mom and Pop place. This is a humble place that doesn’t look like much. Friends took us here, we never would have picked this place otherwise.The food is great! Service is perfect.
Good down home food. First visit was very pleasent (Dinner). Food was good and reasonably priced, service was very good. Menu included breakfast, lunch and dinner foods. Loved the big booths and strawberry shortcake dessert.
