Great bagels and delightful cream cheeses! The mixed olive one is so good as is the loaded baked potato! I high recommend this place. I ate here often during college and every time it brought me to a bagel shop in NYC. Their sandwiches are also very good!
Coming from the northeast you can find a good bagel place anywhere, but not down here. I haven’t found a better variety of bagels and cream cheese. The only issue are the breakfast sandwiches could be beefed up, more bacon or pork roll not just one slice.
Being from NY I was happy to find this little shopping plaza with phenomenal NY style bagels! The variety of bagels and the different cream cheeses are all delicious! They egg sausage bagel platter is a great deal and everything is made to order! Great deal, delicious food!
Best Bagels in JAX…worth the drive. I moved to Jax two years ago and was horribly disappointed by the bagels in town. That is why I was so happy to discover Bagels R Us! They do bagels right. Soft chewy bagels and they don’t skimp on the cream cheese. I cannot stand it when I order a bagel at other places and I get a paper thin layer of cream cheese! Bagels R Us also makes sure there are plenty of seeds/toppings on the bagels which is surprisingly hard to find at other places. This place is great. I drive 30 minutes to go here even though there is a lousy bagel joint about 2 minutes from my house. Keep up the good work!
Change of ownership. Yes the friendly Asian couple sold the place up in may , we been using the same quality product and extended the menu at little , the bagels aren’t smaller they are the same size if not bigger .we apologize if there was any problems with our product but we ensure everyone that we been working toward perfection.
Best Bagels in Jax. Good bagels but my only qualm with this place is that recently I have noticed two new employees working at the shop (usually it is the owner and his wife). The new employees don’t prepare the bagels as well as the other times I have gone (less cream cheese etc.) and are also less friendly. I may just be used to the small shop’s friendly attitude where you walk in and get asked how your mom is (even though they have only met her twice). I am happy that they are moving up in the world and are able to now have time off by having other employees, but the employees need to have a little better training. I will still go for the bagels though. DELICIOUS.EDIT:Went back again today, the owner has switched. The bagels are smaller, the cream cheese (lox & bacon cheddar) do not have the same quality as they used to (no more big hunks of bacon, cheese, and lox). The lox spread seems like something you can get at the grocery store in a plastic package. Disappointing. I like that they are adding new flavors to the bagels and the cream cheese sections. However, I think that the quality of the bagels have gone down.
Great Place. We have eaten here regularly for years. Bagels and homemade cream cheeses are delicious and service is fast and friendly from family owners. Great place for breakfast and lunch!
