Slow Down and Smell the Music/Pizza. Ok we have been a few times and yes mostly for Mike Shackelford. He’s one of a drying breed around town. A single guitar player with a wraspy voice that is just so cool to sit an listen to. That and he palyed our wedding almost 14 years ago. Ok food this place has slow service but thats a good thing. Now on this trip (being on a diet) we ate the pannis. I ordered the Italian and the wife had the mozzarella an tomato. Both were cooked well nice crusty bread with the hard exterior and a soft interior. The fillings were plentiful and all in all an enjoyable meal. So in my mind what this world needs is to slow down. You know smell the coffee or in this case the oregano an pizza. Listen to the music and enjoy life for a change. See ya soon Brucci’s an Mike

Totally Ignored – The Worst Service In Town. A buddy and I went on a Thursday night 12/13/12 at approximately 8:45, as I was told they had $1 pizza slices and $1 domestic draft beer. I usually go to a different place on Thursdays to watch football and have pizza and drinks, but decided to try out this deal. I looked online first to see the menu and the deal was advertised there so off we went. The restaurant looked nice, was rather small and was almost full, but there were no customers at the bar which is where we wanted to sit anyway so we could see the game on the TV which was behind the bar in the corner. I typically get better service a bar because there is always someone there. That idea would be proven wrong here. There were two men behind the bar, neither of whom even acknowledged us and again, we were the only two people sitting there. One guy was rather tall with dark hair wearing jeans, the other was shorter with light hair wearing shorts. There was a girl who walked by and behind the bar, as we were where the opening was where the bartenders and servers enter and exit the bar and the cash register was on the far side. Anyone using it or getting any type of drink would have to pass by us. She also said nothing to us. After debating whether to leave, another girl went behind the bar and finally asked if we wanted something. I confirmed with her that domestic drafts were $1. My buddy ordered a Bud Light and I ordered something else. She said, But Light isnt $1. The bar menu was right there and pointing to it I politely said, Its right here with the other domestic beers. She said, Well its not a dollar rather rudely and rolling her eyes. My buddy got a Miller Light instead, which he doesnt like and I got something else. I dont remember what mine was since Im not particularly a beer fan and it all tastes the same to me. She walked off and she never spoke to us again. Meanwhile, the guy in shorts sat on top of the back of the bar; the area where liquor and glasses are, opposite the cash register. I could not believe what I was seeing. Just to clarify, the guy sat his butt up on top of the bar. The guy in jeans was opposite him at the register and they were having a conversation. By this time we had our hands crossed on the menus and to any reasonable person, it would appear that we had been waiting to order. We only had menus because they were already available at the bar. We already finished our beers and while all four of these servers were walking back and forth, not one of them asked if we wanted another beer or if we wanted to order something to eat. The guy in shorts walked by and it appeared that he may have been a kitchen worker because we didnt see him again. I waved to the guy in jeans and asked, Why is Bud Light not available for the $1 draft? He said, Because it only comes in bottles and he walked off before I could ask if we could order another round and some food. My buddy and I looked at each other as if, Why didnt that girl simply say that, instead of debating with us about the price? Ive read other reviews about rude service and she must have been who they were talking about. Long dark hair, rather large eyes and pretty, but boy, what an attitude. We remained the only two people at the bar the entire time with no one giving us any service at all, much less being cordial. It was though we did not exist; four servers no service. What does one do when you are sitting there, menu in front of you, empty cups for at least 10 minutes (and thats after the long time it took to get them) with these servers passing right in front of you? I put $3 on the bar and we walked out and went to our usual hangout across the street. I was mad at myself for leaving even that. There was no logical reason that I could see as to why we were ignored. The guys had plenty of time to sit and stand around talking at the other end of the bar and the girls passed by us numerous times as well and didnt seem to show any sense of urgency. There was someone behind the bar at all times, mostly the guy in jeans and being the only customers sitting there, it seemed obvious they were deliberately not paying any attention to us. This would also explain why there were no other customers at the bar, assuming they dont give service to anyone who sits there. I wish I had the chance to try their pizza since that is a weekly treat I enjoy. I was hoping to find that it would be good because I would go back to any place that treated me as any customer would expect. My regular pizza night place is always packed at the bar and since Im never ignored there I can now understand why it is so busy there, and why Bruccis bar stools were empty (except for us). Its pretty bad when you go to a restaurant and never even get a chance to try their food. I not only went back to the person who recommended this place, but I have also told all my friends about this miserable experience and will post this review on every social site I belong to.

It’s alright.. Good kid food. I would have to try something besides the pizza.

Good pizza but everything else sucks. Their pizza is really god but that’s the best thing going for Brucci’s. Service is slow and so is the food to come out. Not a one time thing either…..EVERY of the dozens of time we’ve eaten here, service is slow and poor and we wait FOREVER for our food. Pasta is terrible each time we’ve had it and finally quit ordering it!! but again, their pizza is what keeps us coming back.
