By far the worst food experience I have had in Jax!! Service was HORRIBLE, our appetizer came out after 30 minutes and was cold, and the food was disgusting. I literally threw it up in the parking lot. I will never return and will tell everyone I know never to go there!!
The Best in JAX IMHO. This restaurant is a pleasant surprise. A comfortable atmosphere, fantastic food, I eat here often. The lunch buffet is one heck of a bargain. They have their own beer as well as authentic Mexican beer and domestic beer as well as a full service bar. Your order takes a little more time to prepare but the quality of the food make the little bit of extra time well worth it in my mind. Quality in a meal cannot be rushed after all. I eat here often and plan to continue to go back.

Wow…we are sitting at the restaurant right now. The food is excellent but LITERALLY comes out SLOW–and this is not an exaggeration. We just had to ask to see our waiter who hasn’t been to our table in almost 30 minutes. The food here is amazing but I seriously doubt we will be back. We have received poor service here before but tonight is the final straw. If the manager takes the time to read this please know your restaurant lacks SERIOUS training in your server department. We will not make recommendations to ANYONE to come here. We just stopped another server to ask if our server had gone home. Two requests later he finally shows up and asks if we need anything else. Well we ordered the special which includes dessert–so unless he is going to comp our check then yes we need more service. Oh and no apology from our server regarding his absence. Really. Owners please read this–your servers need training immediately!!! Thanks for ruining our meal.
Do not go there!!. Normally I do not write reviews like this, but after my experience, I must tell others about it. So while my family of four ordered our meal, we ran out of chips. When we asked for more, the server said that they were out of chips. We wondered how they could be out of chips but things happen. So we asked the server if we could have some more cheese dip and tortillas since they were out of chips. The OWNER came to the table and when we asked him he said no and that he shouldn’t have even let us in because it was too close to closing time and then he wouldn’t have run out of chips. What type of response is that?? I could not believe the words that came out of his mouth! First of all, how does a Mexican restaurant run out of chips? Second, why would the owner come over and rudely state that he should not have even let us in the restaurant much less give us some comp food because he ran out of something? So after a few minutes went by, another server came out with some fresh chips. So they were not out after all. Did the owner just not want to open a new bag? Originally, I did not know that it was the owner that was so rude to us. I actually thought that it was possibly a manager. So when I asked for the owners information and they told me that it was him, I could not believe it. How can an owner of a service company be so rude to its customers? Not only will I never go back there, but I will tell every person that I know how bad it is and to never go there. I cannot support a business whose owner treats customers the way that we were treated! Unbelievable!
I would consider this place overpriced Taco Bell. Refried beans taste like they are out of a can and the rice was not good. Overall I regret not going to my normal Mexican restaurant salsas! THIS PLACE IS NOT MEXICAN FOOD!
Yucky!. This is by far the worse so called Mexican food ever. I grow up in California so I know Mexican food! The beans are canned beans, the rice has no flavor and service sucked! I would NEVER go back! yuck!
