Great food and a decent German beer selection. The chef is currently revamping the menu, and I expect it will be just as delicious as the previous items. The service is always excellent, as well.
An hour ago I went into the German Schnitzel House and sat at the bar I was totally ignored there was no bartender and then finally a waiter came out and sat down four people that came in after me and started getting their drinks totally ignored me I will never go back to do not go to this restaurant.
Great German food !! Only been there twice, each time the food was great and service was great !! Each dish reminded me of my Maw Maw’s cooking !! Oh and the pretzel bread was awesome !!
Whoever lived and ate in Germany, this is no way authentic! I am truly disappointed! And I am glad that others think the same! I love German food!
What a pleasant surprise the Schnitzel Haus turned out to be. The service was great and our server had great recommendations like the beer cheese soup, which was worth the trip by itself. You would expect a good beer selection being a german restaurant, and they did not disappoint with about 16 , don’t quote the exact number, of german beers on tap. The main course was also very good. Beef Stroganoff, was ver tender and perfectly seasoned, we also had the pork shank which was also so tender that you could cut it with your fork, and paired perfectly with the new potatoes. To top it all off there was the Black Forest Cake, prepared with a cherry liqueur. It is hard to find a place that I’m looking forward to going to again, the Schnitzel Haus is such a place.
This place was great! Loved the atmosphere and authentic recipes made from scratch. I’ve had German food many times and this place really surprised me!
They cut corners and were unprepared.. I went for lunch this week. Two problems: 1. I’m a small guy, and the portion was still way too small. $11 for a 4-6 oz schnitzel and one side of sauer kraut. I was still hungry after this lunch. I felt cheated. There’s no way anyone would’ve thought this was enough food for lunch. 2. After my coworker had ordered, they came back out and said they were out of curry: unprepared and they should’ve told him that when he ordered. It will take some doing before I consider coming back.
