Went there late while visiting Jacksonville and the food was delicious. We all had a variety of wings and fries. The wings were perfectly done and the fries were crisp. I had a tropical sunrise and I wasn’t disappointed.
A group of us meet up here for Sunday Brunch often. The food is delicious, and there is a lot of it. Last Sunday there were 9 of us, and it took over an hour to get our food. The table of 4 beside us came in after us, ate, and left before we even got our food. We will go back, just after football season is over or before 11 AM.
Horrible service and can’t cook in oil!!. I’ve been coming to Jerry’s grill got years. But this is the second time I’ve come to Jerry’s grill and my fianc ordered chicken fingers. The smell of them was like they were cooked in old oil and they were very tough. We mentioned it to the waitress and she told us the oil was changed twice a week. So either that is a lie or they are over cooking them at a high heat to push them out faster. My fianc did not want to send them back because he feared that if he ordered something else then the waitress would spit in his food considering her attitude towards us. So not only did we have to deal with that but I also never got a refill on my drink that was empty for about ten minutes, my fianc had to ask the waitress for another beer (I’m sorry but when you see a empty drink at the edge of the table that is a clear sign to ask if he’d like another one) and my daughter never got the fries that she ordered nor the celery that came with her hot wings. We mentioned it to the waitress and she said oh well I assumed because she is young that she didn’t want it, my bad… So coming from experience when you know your customers are displeased you should definitely not have a attitude with them. And to top it all off at the end when she brought us our check she said in a sour tone sorry next time just don’t get me. So considering the second time of bad food and now bad customer service we will not be returning. I’d rather eat a Applebee’s!!
Terrible. Greasy Spoon is a nice way to describe the rancid flavors creeping out of this kitchen. I ordered a simple grilled chicken sandwich and received a microwave thawed breast with wilted lettuce and funky smelling bun. The bubble guts lasted about 48 hours.
GREAT!. I am a bit confused by the bad reviews, we have not had a bad meal, nor bad service at this place yet. The food, staff, and over all experiences we’d had at Jerry’s has been fabulous. Never a bad meal, and if we need anything, the staff bends over backwards to make us happy. I guess the bad reviews are coming from people who are just miserable in general.
