The wait time was really long for the simple things we ordered. We got our food to go due to the limited seating at the time. When we got it home we weren’t impressed. The food was very basic. Not seasoned that well, nothing too special. This place isn’t terrible but I’ve had better breakfast from a lot of other places

The breakfasts here are awesome. Big portions; everything’s fresh; delicious coffee! I’ve been here twice and look forward to coming back. The first time I went, I enjoyed the sausage biscuits & gravy. It is so flavorful. This last time I had the sausage omelet with a side of the sausage gravy/biscuits. So good. Also try the creamed chipped beef!! Glad to see the place was busy. The family owners work their butts off! I hope they are around for a long time. Looking forward to trying other menu options – everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked mighty tasty! (Very reasonably priced, too!)

First diner in this part of town. This new restaurant occupies the old Over the Ditch Cafe spot. The menu is similar to the prior restaurant, but the quality is better. Six of us went for brunch after church, and all of us said we would go again. The food, nor the service, were outstanding, but we could see the potential for improvement. I had the eggs benedict, and although another review for this lauded the copious amount of hollandaise sauce and the perfectly cooked poached eggs, my eggs were overcooked and the amount of sauce was underwhelming. The omelets others had looked good, and my husband loved the creamed chip beef, reminiscent of his Army days. Our waitress was inattentive, but it was because she had too many tables to wait on – not enough wait staff on hand. But we are happy to have a diner in this part of town, and the varied offerings on the menu were enticing enough to bring us back another day.
