Now I know why no one has posted a review for Rice Bowl in over 8 months. We decided on Rice Bowl for Christmas Day since it was slim pickings for anything else being open other than fast food.We ordered spring rolls, Chicken & Broccoli, Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan, General Tso’s Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Chicken Chow Mein.Every dish was bland in flavor and the chicken was definitely frozen and thawed quickly prior to cooking. Chicken that is mushy and watery is the tell tale sign of being frozen. The General Tso’s Chicken was neither spicy, let alone tangy in any way. The sauce is typically sticky to the point of being congealed as it cools. This was watery like a soup consistency. The Chicken Chow Mein was also watery and the vegetables were not crunchy. And the Chicken was mushy as well. The Sweet & Sour Chicken sauce was watery and lacked the typical stickiness and flavor. The pieces of chicken were cooked perfectly, but again the meat was mushy.Avoid this restaurant. Taking over the old Mr. Chan’s that was also a dump hasn’t changed, even after giving it a new name. Not recommended

You cant go wrong at the Rice Bowl. We enjoy going here . Place always clean and neat. And the food is fresh. My wife likes their shrimp egg foo young. Not sure where on the menu its listed. Ive enjoyed everything I’ve gotten so far. We’ve been there 3 times in the last month.
Amazing. Friendly staff, quick service but most importantly amazing food. Their walnut shrimp is wonderful!
The bang bang shrimp is amazing! We also really liked the Korean noodles with beef. The ingredients are very fresh and delicious!
All in all great.. Elaine (the host) was very friendly and helpful. Food came in less than 15 mins. Food is great and I’m picky eater because I cook good myself. Everything taste just right and when you want spicy or spicier, just let them know and they will fix it for you. We ate at lunch time and the price is $8 for soup or salad with rice and entree and it is a big serving. I ordered red curry chicken and it was served in a medium bowl with lots of vegetables and chicken. The vegetables were not overcooked so thumbs up for that. Ask for a chilli if you like spicy because it taste good too and they say it is homemade… Lol and our plates were like clean after, yes it is that good.
This place is a hidden treasure! We have eaten here twice and have enjoyed everything we have tried from appetizers to entrees!
