Breakfast place with below average food. Donuts tasted like the deep fryer. You can order a donut with bacon on it, but you can’t get a breakfast sandwich with bacon on it. The ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich came on a thin slice of something that was supposed to be bread, but tasted like cardboard. The ham on the sandwich was easily 4x as thick as the bread and was chewy and had a quarter inch of fat on one side. Really gross.
Great place to stop in and get your coffee fix, and the maple bacon donut here is definitely a must-try! The donuts are absolutely decadent, and the coffee is delicious! The staff members were all friendly and professional, as well. I do wish the store offered more non-dairy milk alternatives other than soy milk, but I don’t mind taking my coffee black.

Donuts are huge and awesome! Coffee is great!! Really like this little place! Went every morning of our short Sanibel trip on the way to the keys. Will definitely visit again.

Bennett’s has lots of fun donut varieties from which to choose. I stuck with the classic glazed and it was delicious. These are big donuts too. The house roast coffee was excellent.
We visited Bennett’s twice this week. The coffee is fresh roasted in house daily and tastes great. The doughnuts are also made in house and they are really nice. The variety is lacking a little as they may have has 20 different kinds but then again The national chain DD sometimes has less of a variety. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and comfortable. The orange crunch doughnut, the coconut doughnut and the cinnamon sugar doughnuts were our favorites. We will be back next time we are on Sanibel Island.
