Mexican street corn! Yummy!. I was thrilled by the Mexican street corn and the guac! And my husband really enjoyed the chorizo tacos. I wasn’t crazy about the pork tamale special. It was soggy and would have been better off made into multiple tamales instead of one giant one. It just didn’t cook well and didn’t have enough filling. The chips were underwhelming and the pinto bean side dish was really odd. I would go back but stick to the corn and tacos for sure!

Had potential- all appeared to be freshly prepared…only problem was, everything lacked flavor. The chef must be missing some tastebuds. Super bland food.
Bland. I’ve given this place several tries and always reach this conclusion.
No Canned Food Here. I was amazed how fresh and good the food is and there are no canned ingredients. The guacamole dip is very good. The taco salad with shrimp was delicious. The servers are friendly and at attentive. Eaten here twice this month with parties of 5 and 6 – everyone had a great meal. I don’t know what TxMom ate. I did notice she liked Cantina Captiva where the food is from a can.
This place feels like home. Friendly staff. I am in love with the craft beer menu. I ordered the bacon wrapped manchengo stuffed dates that blew me away. Fresh food, great prices. Wished I stopped here days ago.
My husband said this was the best meal on sanibel. It’s not a tourist trap like so many sanibel restaurants! The BBQ pork taco was his favorite. Chips and queso was amazing. From the outside you’d have no idea how great this place, it will not disappoint!
