Casual and good food.
This place is great. Nothing fancy, not touristy, but a solid local spot. Good pizza and sandwiches. Great draft beer selection too. Friendly wait staff.
Awesome pizza, good beer selection, lots of flatscreens. What else do you require?
In search of a good Pizza on the island. We were told Great White had the bestPizza. We tried meza something it was a joke and Island pizza was so horrible that yeah they are the best. Being the best by default is nothing to be proud of. The place was so dirty It was like a train wreck I was horrified at what I was seeing in the kitchen yet couldnt look away. A towel that was so filthy sitting on a food contact surface next to someones order was disturbing.There was one young kid who looked clean and thank goodness he was the one making our pizza.I kept saying at least the 600 degree oven will kill most anything. But to be fair the pizza was better then the others but could not get past the filth in the kitchen. If you are going to have an open kitchen at least pick stuff up off the floor or train the staff to be friendly that will distract from the piles of junk around. We will keep looking for the best pizza on the island
Fabulous pizza! And they deliver!
Average food sub par service. In a half filled restaurant, I don’t expect to wait 30 minutes for a couple of sandwiches and an order of wings. But in this case I had no choice. When I placed the to-go order the bartender wasn’t sure if I could order 3 phillies and some wings, so she asked the kitchen guy if that was possible. Lucky for me, he grudgingly agreed to make our food, although in hindsight I wish he would have declined to make our complicated order and send us to Subway instead. The subs were bland, lacking cheese, and the onions and peppers were sparse. Thirty minutes of my life was wasted waiting for this sub par food. Perhaps the pizza is better, because they looked pretty good coming out of the oven. But put me in the kitchen and I at least use their ingredients to make my bland sandwiches in 15 minutes.
After reading glowing review in paper, was expecting an awesome sports bar…it was not. Not bad, just not great. good beer selection though, will go back for that!
