Our experience was a disappointment. The sauce was more of a marinara style and the three toppings we ordered in our pizza were extremely sparse. Overall, it didn’t work, not worth the money, and we would not return.
Disappointed with my 1st experience with Island Pizza. Wont be visiting again after bland pizza crust & sauce. Had high hopes after reading the reviews.
Pasta was good…. My wife and I ordered the penne San remo and chicken Alfredo. The first night they did not have the eggplant however the sauce was really good. went back the next time and they had the eggplant. The sauce was really really good. Definatly recommend the Penne san remo. the alfredo was decent but nothing compared to the other. Garlic knots were… Garlic knots. Bruchetta was also decent. worth the trip for that pasta
Serviceable. Pizza was about what I expected on an Island of FL. Maybe a little better. The regular crust pizza was the best. Mozzarella sticks were cooked to perfection. Iced tea tasted like water, don’t bother. Took about 10 min to get acknowledged. Services overall was good aside from initial wait. They were busy though. Pizza at Matuzula was better.
Don’t waste a vacation meal on this overpriced pizza. Don’t waste your time either! Waited an hour for carryout and watched our pizzas sit on the counter for a half hour before qe got them because they lost our ticket. Go to Matzaluna.
To be completely honest I feel as if I’ve been robbed by this restaurant. I’ve had pizza all over the country and this is the worst pizza I’ve ever paid top dollar for. We spent $50 on two pizzas for my family and it was so bad that we didn’t even eat the second one. If you want to have some great pizza the best on the island is actually made at schnapper’s hots. Schnapper’s hots is the hot dog place across the street but makes their dough fresh and has great ingredients. A friend of mine who is a big fan of New York style pizza said that was the best replica he’s ever had out of the big apple. No one deserves what happened to my family and I last night.
Pizza was excellent and buffalo shrimp appetizer superb. Bartender and server were friendly and accommodating
