Bouillabaisse was like heaven on my tongue with the garlic sauce. Seafood cooked to perfection which I find rare in a perfect bouillabaisse. Also had the amazing tomato salad. Fresh and appetizing. Dad had the grouper which is usually my favorite. Mom had the filet and we all agree this is one of our favorite restaurants. Love the cute Alice in Wonderland decor! The view is also lovely! Must visit for sanibel or captiva!

Excellent meal and service. Had salmon rolls, lobster tempura, crab cake dinner, and lobster dinner. The best thing I ate here was the coconut risotto with the crab cakes. The atmosphere is nice with a quirky theme of Mad Hatter from Alice and Wonderland. Definitely go down the rabbit hole to enjoy this lovely restaurant. Possibly before dark for the view of the water (we had dinner later and there is no view to be had once the sun goes down). Lovely night out! 🙂

Dinner here for our last night on the island was wonderful. I do believe the menu is overpriced, but the food was delicious. Bread was warm and served with an olive tapenade. We were also offered complimentary blue crab claws. My husband had the black grouper with coconut risotto and raved about it. His raves were well deserved, the risotto alone was phenomenal. I chose the strawberry and goat cheese salad with balsamic dressing and it did not disappoint. For my dinner, I had the surf and turf appetizer, which included a filet medallion, mini blue crab cake and shrimp. It was quite tasty, especially the crab cake! When I come back, I might just order the 2 crab cake dinner..it was THAT good. My brother in law also tried the asparagus bisque soup and offered a taste. It was fresh tasting with a wonderful smokey flavor, as well. Two kids ordered off the kids menu, one getting the filet and one getting tempura shrimp. My daughter gave the tempura shrimp a middle grade, as she didn’t care for the batter. She did rave about her mashed potatoes! Dessert was the best! We ordered 2 of the tasting menu for the dessert selections. The drunken ice cream with a sweet port wine reduction and a hint of pepper was definitely a favorite. The way it played the taste buds on the tongue was ridiculously good. The coffee creme brle was a very close second! He death by chocolate was too rich for my tastes, but the kids loved it. The kids meals each came with a scoop of their delicious (homemade?) vanila bean ice cream. The only sour spot for me was our waiter. He was very pretentious and not very attentive. The secondary wait staff was better and had great personalities. The hostess, who is one of the owners, was completely lovely and hospitable. They have a nice seating area outside as you wait for your reservation time. Enjoy!

Lovely location. Book window table for sunset. Food is ok and a bit expensive but you do feel you have had a dining experience

Went for my birthday dinner, had two appetizers, the foie gras and the blue crab cake, both delicious and beautifully presented, entrees were rack of lamb and lobster. Everything was delicious, ambiance was just right, our table overlooked the sunset on the ocean. Perfect night. If you anticipate you’ll be paying for a fine dining experience, you won’t have an issue when the check comes.

Fantastic as usual. Our favorite dining experience every year when we come here on vacation. Must try the goat cheese pillows appetizer! The lamb was juicy, thick cut and cooked perfectly. The Mad House salad was great. We had the Pinot Noir offered on special at $55 and it was very nice. This place is very consistent year over year in terms of service and quality of food. Best dining on the islands hands down.
