One of my favorite experiences on the island is going for long bicycle rides and stopping by Pinocchio’s to cool down with some of their delicious ice cream! Though there is usually a line, it always flows pretty quickly. Don’t come here if you’re in a huge hurry, but why would you be in a hurry when you’re on vacation, anyway? All the flavors I have tried (the Sanibel Crunch, Wedding Bells, and the Dirty Sand Dollar) were excellent and the portion sizes were HUGE. Do yourself a favor and drop by for a treat…just make sure to bring your appetite!
I can see why they have won best ice cream for years. Wow!! Really a great treat! I had the sanibel crunch and my friend had butter pecan. We got medium because we were substituting it for dinner but a small would have been plenty. This place does not skimp on anything. Highly recommend!
I love Pinnochio’s! My favorite is the Dirty Sand Dollar and Wedding Bells. Great customer service, a bit busy at times and always delicious!
Excellent ice cream. Can’t go wrong for dessert. On busy nights the waiting area could be hectic, but well worth it.

Good ice cream but the gal that worked there was rude. Acted like we were bothering her to actually wait on us. There is no way to see what they have until its your turn to order. Sometimes they ask you what you want and you have not even seen what they have yet and they act annoyed that you don’t have your order ready. We go there every year but may choose just to go to Rosie’s in the future as they have more selection and are super nice.
So yummy! Favorite still dirty sand dollar.
