I’ve had both lunch and dinner here. Nice airy atmosphere with large floor to ceiling windows (French doors, actually) which are open in nice weather. For lunch I had blackened shrimp tacos, which were tasty. Each taco had two large gulf shrimp, cheese and salsa. Came with a generous portion of good fries. For dinner, had a special, parmesan grouper, with potatoes and a vegetable. I also had a starter, a big bowl of conch chowder. Corona beer was $2 the night I was there. The house wines are regularly $2.50. Good service, good food, good prices.
Relaxed atmosphere with nice big open windows. Food was some of the best I have had on the island and this is my third trip to Sanibel. Nice selection of draft beer. Live music on a week day night. Great find for future trips.
Really enjoyed the food and service was excellent.
Worst I’ve ever had, honestly. Service was great, but the food wasn’t. I had seafood Alfredo and it tasted like it wasn’t seasoned at all. My husband had the crab crusted salmon and it tasted like straight lemon juice. I’m disappointed. This is the first review I’ve done because it was so awful I wanted to warn others.
Good food and fun atmosphere. The stuffed shrimp were nice if somewhat too breaded, but they had a spicy kick which was unusual. The shrimp and grits were a heaping mound of food, so be hungry. Service was friendly, even though they wouldn’t substitute the grits as a side item.
The food here was mediocre at best. The grits in the shrimp and grits were unseasoned and very stiff. Even the iced tea was bitter. Way overpriced!
Disappointing. We read such mixed reviews of this restaurant and wanted to try something new so we went for it. The restaurant itself is colorful, but it is divided into small areas, some with as few as 4 tables each and the atmosphere was cold feeling, not cozy. The food was not good. The Mahimahi was over salted , the coconut shrimp breading was too sweet and the shrimp had no flavor. We did like the baked red potato wedges and the server was attentive and fast.
